- This collection includes materials concerning the Zeta Chi Sigma Fraternity at Eastern Michigan University from 1928 to 1964. The collection includes correspondence and other documents from 1928 to 1959, the Zeta Cry Newsletter from 1941 to 1950, and material from the Aurora yearbooks on Zeta Chi Sigma from 1929 to 1964.

Historical note
Zeta Chi Sigma fraternity was founded on December 4, 1928 as an independent fraternity at Eastern Michigan University. The fraternity promoted scholarship, music, and athletics, and began with seven members and four pledges. In 1949, the fraternity split, and some members joined a national fraternity, while the others remained part of Zeta Chi Sigma. The fraternity disbanded in 1960 when the remaining members joined the national fraternity Theta Chi.
