Administrative History

The United Auto Workers (UAW) EMU Local 1976 was established at Eastern Michigan University in order to provide union representation to all professional and technical employees. The Union provides exclusive representation for the purposes of collective bargaining in regards to rates of pay, hours of employment, and other employment conditions.
