- Professor Robert Michael Citino was a professor at Eastern Michigan University in the history department from 1991 to 2009. His fields of study include Western European history, military history, the Habsburg Empire, and modern German history. Biography
Professor Robert Michael Citino was born on 19 June 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his B.A. from Ohio State University in 1978 and his M.A. and Ph.D from Indiana University in 1980 and 1984, respectively. His fields of study include Western European history, military history, the Habsburg Empire, and modern German history. Before becoming a Professor in the History department at Eastern Michigan University, he was an Associate Professor History at Lake Erie College, beginning in 1984. He taught at EMU from 1991 to 2009, and received the Distinguished Teaching Award in 1993.
