Administrative History

The Office of International Studies at Eastern Michigan University is responsible for the management of study abroad programs, and also provides resources for international students. The Office provided support and resources for students, faculty, and staff, in regards to international projects, interests, and experiences. Currently, these responsibilities are managed instead by two different University units, Academic Programs Abroad, and the Office of International Students.

Scope and Contents

The Office of International Studies at Eastern Michigan University managed study abroad prorams and provided support and resouces to international students. The Office of International Studies records include one series:  Somalia Project; these materials pertain to an extended EMU program in Somalia. Additionally, the records include annual reports, brochures and pamphlets, clippings, correspondence, newsletters, news releases, program descriptions, and faculty reports.
