Abstract

The Department of English Language and Literature collection documents the workings of the department. The English Language and Literature Department offers classes that focus on a variety of areas in the English career world. The collection is arranged alphabetically and is divided into three series. The Administration and Curriculum series includes information on meeting minutes, handbooks and program requirements. The Proposals and Reports series includes information on several proposals and reports written to improve the English Language and Literature Department. The Publicity and Outreach series contains information on clippings, correspondence, newsletters and the summer institute. Records date from 1960 to 2010.

The Department of English Language and Literature at Eastern Michigan University offers many opportunities for students who wish to study the field.
